Supreme-Intelligence 'The Road To Soul' Interview

Staten Island native Supreme-Intelligence unveils a fifteen-track cut EP titled ‘Road To Soul,’ which guides his current path in life from his point of view through his most considerable talents, crafting beautiful introspective music and curating profound messages. Strip away the glory from opening up with the legendary WuTang and take a look at the rapper for the young man who he truly is.

What inspired the title?

The title was inspired by a series of life events that ultimately brought me to the conclusion that if I never have financial freedom, I may not be able to experience spiritual freedom while on earth. As a human being our time is mostly spent at work, school, or devoted to something that requires you to maintain a sustainable living environment. I believe that until we find our purpose in life, and began to peruse that as a career, we will always give out time, energy, and devotion to someone else’s revolution. I choose to be a part of my own revolution, hence the name “Road To Soul”.

Where did you record this album?

This project was recorded in Staten Island New York at RealJob Music Studios.

What is your favorite track? Why?

My favorite track from the Road To Soul EP is a song entitled Road to soul. It is number 16 on the project & this is my favorite song because it embodies how I felt making this project. It talks about a personal situation with my son Soul, hence the name Road To Soul, and how I am fighting through all obstacles put in my way.

What is your favorite line from the album?: “ Now who can be

Who helped make this album what it is? Writers, Producers, Muses, Support System, Etc

Everybody Involved with this project not only helped me make it but they also multiple roles when putting it together.

P. Soul : Produced most of the project & he wrote Poetic Soul

Tange Beats : Produced Mathamatics, Talk about, & college confessions

Hassan : Engineered the Entire project from beginning to end & also he was featured on “Tell it All”

Arabia : Was featured on College Confessions & that’s my real sister.

Niro: Was featured on Black Hoodie Music & he shot all the visuals.

Leksi Harris : Was featured on Spirit of Ecstasy.

PXWER : He was featured on the song “ Cards We Were Dealt “ and he also played the role of Samuel Jackson from one of the best anime films ever Afro Samurai, throughout the duration of the project.

If you could remix any song and feature any artist, what song would it be and who would you feature on it?

I would remix the single My Gang & I would have Jadakiss on the Second verse.

What's your dream?

My dream is to remain supreme forever.

What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream?

My advice to anyone with a dream…

Remember that no one sees your dream the way you see it, no one wants your dream the way you want it, & most importantly nobodies coming. You have to be able to rely on yourself at all times and when things go wrong you have to point at yourself. Value is not based on how much you can accumulate, value is how function-able you are with nothing.
