Where are you from?: I was born and raised in the South of Italy but I’ve been living in Milan since 4 years now.

How did you get into photography/videography? : I actually picked up a camera when I was 12 so it’s been 10 years now, crazy right?! I’ve always been a self taught kind of person so I taught myself everything. By that time I went to a lot of concerts and whenever I got home I always ended up forgetting the incredible moment I was experiencing so I thought that buying a camera and photographing the moment would let me relive the moment and so it did. Since that time I never stopped taking photos. The urge of feeling the moment through a photograph is something truly incredible.

What was your first camera?: My first camera was a reflex. Canon EOS 550D and I still keep it in my bedroom.

What camera do you currently use?: I now use a Sony a7RIII, fell in love with it. The design and the performance is incredible.

How did you learn your craft and advance your skills? : I’ve always been a self taught kind of person so I did everything by myself through failing and learning through YouTube.

Do you have any nicknames? How did you get that name?: My name is Natascia but I’ve been called “Naty” since I can remember so I thought it would be a great branding name. I also wanted something cryptic so I added the term “btw” and you’d think it’s “by the way” but it actually means Be Truly Wild, which is my motto.

If you could take photos of any 3 people that are alive today, who would they be?: I would love to take photos of Zayn, Rihanna and my most favorite actor Joaquin Phoenix. They would be perfect.

If you could take photos of any 3 people that are no longer living, who would they be?: I grew up listening to Freddy Mercury and Michael Jackson because my mom was so obsessed with them so it probably must be them.

If you could take photos in any 3 cities what would they be?: Definitely Tokyo, Seoul and last but not least New York City. These are my dream cities because I grew up playing lots of games and watching movies like Blade Runner.

What is your goal when you capture photos of someone?: A large part of the enjoyment for me comes from playing with light and color to convey the emotion on a simple day-to-day life. I want to take real and radical moments and transform them into something cinematic.

What is your dream as an artist?: I really want to become a cinematographer.

What music do you listen to when you edit photos?: Mainly sad love songs that have meaningful lyrics. I’m an hopeless romantic, I know 🤣

What is your dream as a photographer?: I would love to publish a book and have my art exposed in some of the biggest museums out there.

What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream to be a photographer/videographer?: Taking photos and capturing moments is all about seeing and practicing everyday, there’s no other way around.

What's your favorite app on your phone?: Ma favorite app must be Lightroom. Can’t live without editing, can I?!
