Dyron - Tears of a Healing Heart Album Interview
What inspired the title?
Honestly my experience in life for the past two years. I’ve been on a journey of Healing, and that’s the story this album tells.
Where did you record this album?
Believe it or not in my bedroom. Thru a GoFundMe campaign I did last year I was able to purchase everything I needed to record this album and even pay for the cover art and instrumentals.
What is your favorite track? Why?
This is a hard question, because I love them all for so many reasons.... if I had to choose one it would have to be Tears. I’ve NEVER been that open and transparent before but when I wrote that song I knew that threw my transparency transformation would occur.
What is your favorite line from the album?
It would have to be from Holy Ground.
Killed my flesh n I burned the rest
Then I Looked up to God n said it is done
It’s my favorite because Jesus’s last words were “it is done”.
Who helped make this album what it is? Writers, Producers, Muses, Support System, Etc
There were definitely a lot of artist that have inspired this album and I think you’ll be able to hear there essence. Mac Miller, Travis Scott, Drake & Tory Lanez.
But the ppl that kept me going and pushed me to complete this project where ppl like Pastor Ro, Pastor Ruben, my bro Zabby, Frank Nitti & Andrew Daniell ( two of the most talented ppl I know.)
If you could remix any song and feature any artist, what song would it be and who would you feature on it?
I would love to remix Holy Ground and have Mac Miller spit a 16 on it. RIP.
What's your dream?
I don’t have a dream. I have a purpose. And that’s to reach as many as I can with the Gospel of Christ thru music and words. Where ever God takes me thru that is just extra blessings.
What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream?
I would tell them to STOP dreaming and go make it happen.
