Late Bloomin' Interview | Message to a Loved One Edition |

We sat down with Late Bloomin' to talk about his new project 'Message to a Loved One'.

What inspired the title?

I wanted to come up with a title that resembled a message that applied towards all of the songs on the EP. I felt like this title was perfect for them.

Where did you record this album?

I recorded it in my hometown, Erath, LA, in my manager's parking garage.

What is your favorite track? Why?

At the End of the Day is my favorite track on the EP, because it encourages me that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Positivity can always be found in negativity from any type of situation I'm in. Even though the song concentrates on relationships, I feel like people can listen to this whenever they feel down from anything and feel better no matter what it is.

What is your favorite line from the album?

If I ain't with you time flies by, but it gives me time to let it go.

Who helped make this album what it is?

Late Bloomin'

If you could remix any song and feature any artist, what song would it be and who would you feature on it?

I would remix Bad News by Kehlani featuring Kehlani. She is a huge inspiration to me, and I have the biggest crush on her.

What's your dream?

My dream is to become a successful artist of music. I am shooting for the very top, but understanding that I might not fall on that level. It's a good thing that I understand this, because I'm putting myself in a better predicament of falling under a level that would make everything I'm doing worth it.

What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream?

If you have a dream, go for it and give it your absolute best, because you would rather live with your questions answered than leave them unanswered. Don't put yourself in a mindset that would make you ask yourself "What if?"
