What is the name of your podcast?: The Queen of Sh*t Talk & She Aint Sh*t

Where are you from?: The Bronx, NY

What is your podcast about?: The Queen of Sh*t Talk - This is an IG Live with myself, DaRuddest Jones, and different notable individuals discussing various topics that include but not limited to social and personal issues. In this IG live I focus on humanizing my guest and getting viewers to truly see their personalties.

She Aint Sh*t - A Podcast with myself, DaRuddest Jones & V-Henny on StationHead. Together we will be discussing an array of topics in an open and honest way. The first episode will air on April 27th, 2021 at 7 pm Sharp. The first topic will be, "Is it disrespectful to call your childs mother your Baby Mother".

What did you do to advance your skills/knowledge?: I push myself outside of my comfort zone and I am constantly teaching myself new things. For instance, when I first started being a personality I needed graphic work regularly. I couldn't afford to pay someone to do it all of the time so I taught myself and now I do all of my own graphic work. A lot is based on me taking a step back and really teaching myself to become better.

I took roughly 4 years off to really think about what I wanted to do and execute. And now I am doing that.

Why did you create your podcast?: I created it because I am super opinionated and I have a lot to say. I enjoy entertaining people with my quick thoughts and smart ass mouth. I also believe in using my platforms to address social issues. Though I talk in a way that is entertaining for some and triggering for others, I never omit what is really going on in the world around us.

I also felt it important to return to this role because I am an open and honest book. I tend to talk a lot about my personal life. I discuss everything from being abused by my Father to being Raped by my ex boyfriend. I like to show people that life happens but you can always pick yourself up and keep going.

What does your setup look like?: It looks real. I never aim for picture-perfect. I am a simple girl raised on 174th & Sedgwick Ave. I grew up listening to DMX outside of my window with his dogs at 2 in the morning. I have eaten hotdogs and beans for dinner. I am no-frills and that is the person and brand I like to project.

What is your goal when you interview someone?: My goal when I interview people is to humanize them. I know what it feels like to not be seen as a person and it doesn't feel good. Because I know that feeling I like to give people the chance to show themselves as a person and not just as a social media figure, personality, or artist.

What 3 people do you wish you could interview if they were still alive today?: I gotta say DMX. That man was amazing and he didn't speak nearly enough.
Malcolm X. I believe deeply in his ideals. I believe that if he had the backing that Martin Luther King did, people of color would be in a much different place. Perhaps we wouldn't still be getting killing in front of America and NOTHING happens about it!
Though fictional, I need to chop it up with Ghost because he was a whole idiot. LOL!!!

If you could interview any 3 people in the world, who would they be?: Donald Trump!!! He is literally the stupidest person to ever exist and I just really want to get inside of his head and show him exactly how he's a dribbling idiot!
Jay-Z because he is just my favorite person. Plus, he and I go together and I am curious about when he is going to tell Bey about us so we can live our life together.
Lastly, Erykah Badu because clearly she has vaginal superpowers that I have not activated yet and I need lessons!

What podcasts do you listen to?: I listen to Drink Champs, The Artistry, & Million Dollaz Worth of Game. I don't really like to listen to many because I don't want to be influenced or pick up anyone else's style. It's like when I was a Spoken Word Artist. I was one of the DOPEST in NYC and I went out of my way to not listen to anyone else so I couldn't be compared to anyone else.

What are some of your favorite interviews to date?: So I used to have a podcast called Rude on The Radio and honestly, EVERY interview was dope!! But, 2 of my favorites:

1. I interviewed Jason Bourne (may he rest in peace), Pretty Girl 1st, Kony Brooks, & Superlative Sain. The Guest CoHost was the BEAUTIFUL Mojo Disco. And the Guest DJ was Jessica B Live. The topic was the state of Hip Hop and where it was going. We got so deep and explored so many facets. It was an AMAZING discussion.

2. I Interviewed with my CoHost, Megos Legos, the extremely gifted and HYSTERICAL, Nathaniel White of Nene L.A. Shiro. We discussed fashion in NYC and the highlight was the infamous "Timbs"! It was pure comedy and such a genuinely good time.

Another time that I loved is when The Silent Celeb was my CoHost. The topic was the Dos and Donts of Sex and the comedy of that show was through the roof.

What is your dream as a podcaster?: My dream is to get to a point where I can positively impact hundreds of thousands of people at a time. I want to use my platform to give back in a magnanimous way. Yes, I am a jokester but I am all about helping people. Outside of being a Personality, I am a Workforce Development Professional. I am passionate about teaching people of color how to take on the workforce and truly succeed. I use my platform to help me reach people and help them in a way they never knew they needed it.

What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream to create a successful podcast?: 1. Say what you have to say but don't be ignorant about it. Don't speak unless you know what you are talking about. If you have an opinion, make sure it's an educated one and not some shit you pulled out of your ass.

2. Be prepared for judgment.

3. Use your platform to make positive changes in the world around you. Don't be another vulture who has no intention to be an actual good person. We have enough of those. We DONT need more.

4. Speak on social issues. There is no point in having a voice if you arent going to use it.

5. Be ready to work. Some people refer to me as flaky or inconsistent because I take breaks and come back. This shit is a lot of work and I need to protect my mental health sometimes.

6. Share your knowledge. Someone once told me that the richest place on earth is the cemetery. That's because unshared knowledge is there. There is no point in trying to keep what you learn to yourself. Each one, teach one! Don't die being selfish!
