"No Love In The Hood" is a new conceptional album that tells a love story on multiple levels. The intro setting the tone of the album speaks on hood environments & circumstances. The unfortunate violence & mentality of most hoods across the globe. "No Love In The Hood" sparks critical thinking while providing vibes you can get lost in. Giving more commercial sounds while still in sync with bars & lyricism.

Name of the Album/Mixtape/Project

No Love In The Hood

What inspired the title?

The title was meant to be a double entendre. It was initially inspired by my upbringing. Being from Staten Island, NY, I was raised in both Park Hill & Port Richmond and wanted to speak to the conditions of my environment and circumstances. I believe that Staten Island is truly the forgotten borough and wanted everyone who grew up in the same conditions to relate to the overall message of the album. Through creating the album I wanted to tell a love story from beginning to end. Where to as the mentality we've adopted and live by in these conditions would be seen as a love interest or significant other. While providing vibes I wanted to discuss the good, bad, and ugly in that relationship hence the title.

Where did you record this album?

I currently live in Charlotte, NC. I recorded the entirety of the album with Maximus Studio. My engineer is KllSwtch, he has had a hand in every song I have delivered to the masses. Love working with him.

What is your favorite track? Why?

I also do spoken word poetry, so the intro which is also titled "No Love In The Hood" is one of my favorites. It's super powerful and sets the tone for the entire album.

What is your favorite line from the album?

"Nice To Meet Ya, Hasta La Vista Rabid B Rabbit No Easter. Wrote Two Verses and Picked Neither. Sometimes You Got To Just Ether The Either. To Get More Ether. Feel Leisure When I Let The Pen Just Rome Like Ceaser. Want Me To Ease Up, But I Procedure To Seizure Forget I Spazz Amnesia"

Song Is Called "Speakin In Facts" It was recently reposted by Masta Killa of the Wu-Tang Clan on his Instagram page. It's my favorite line mainly cause I love wordplay, analogies, and moving syllables. I also rewrote this verse multiple times until I was ultimately happy with the outcome.

Who helped make this album what it is?

A lot to name and love to go around but here we go! I'll drop their Instagrams, tap in and support them!

Of course want to thank all the fans, supporters, and God for the vision. I also got a chance to go back to NY, and play a snippet of the album for Jadakiss at a dope meet-and-greet session we had. That definitely boosted my confidence as he gave words of wisdom and insight.

If you could remix any song and feature any artist, what song would it be and who would you feature on it?

It'd probably be Broke Nights, and of course Wu Tang All Day you heard! That would be a dream come true. Being from Staten that would mean the world to me.

What's your dream?

My dream is to always put Staten at the forefront by building a legacy that lives on forever through my words and music. I want to be able to be in a position to where I can change the lives of the people I love with music. Financially, spiritually, and mentally, etc. I want to eventually be brought up as one of the greatest to ever do this lyrically. That's the impact I strive for when I write. Until then, the marathon continues.

What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream?

No dream is too big. I used to struggle and make excuses because I was caught up in the rat race we call life. But what I've learned in my journey is that we all have a purpose. The key is to find balance and belief in your vision. Attacking all those steps logically, creating a plan, and most important, holding yourself accountable to your vision. There will be times you'll get discouraged but every loss is a lesson learned. Keep going cause the only thing stopping you is you. Stay blessed.
