Respect the Shooter Interview with Tina Park @tinabellyy
How did you get into photography/videography?
I remember driving through nyc with my family on our way to Niagara Falls. I took a photo on my phone of a yellow storefront sign and showed it to my dad. He majored in Art in Korea and his small affirmation of this photo meant a lot to me. Photography gave me an outlet for my thoughts and my eyes. I bought my first camera a couple of months later.
What did you first use to take photos?
iPhone 3G
Where did you go to school? Do you have any formal training/self taught?

Do you have any nicknames? How did you get that name?
My instagram handle is tinabellyy and my mom used to call me that growing up. Recently just found out though she actually got it from my pediatrician.

Simple and honest.

A lot of Lauv. But usually whatever's on my "Slow" or "mm" playlist.
What's your favorite app on your phone?
Facetime.
What is your dream as a photographer?
Don't really have a crazy planned out dream. Probably to do my best in capturing what is real.
What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream to be a photographer/videographer?
Desire > Fear
This is something I constantly tell myself today: just do it. You need to fall in love with the process and not the result. In order to grow, your desire must overcome your fears so just go out there and start shooting. Stop taking yourself so seriously and be free with this beautiful art.
Where can people find you? (social media, website, etc.)
