How did you get into photography/videography?
I started out making small videos of school holidays and family trips, it grew from there.
What did you first use to take photos?
A small Samsung point and shoot.
Where did you go to school? Do you have any formal training/self-taught?
I’m still completing high school in Australia and have taught myself most of what I know.
Do you have any nicknames? How did you get that name?
No nicknames, just Rose!
If you could take photos of any 3 people who would it be?
Adult Akech, Jaden Smith, and Slick Woods
If you could take photos of any 3 people that are no longer living who would they be?
Audrey Hepburn, Mac Miller, and Cameron Boyce
If you could take photos in any 3 cities what would they be?
New York City, Rome, and Paris
What is your goal when you capture photos of someone?
To convey some sort of emotion or create a timeless image.
What music do you listen to when you edit photos?
It varies, sometimes music from my favorite band LANY and sometimes just some lo-fi music
What's your favorite app on your phone?
Instagram!
What is your dream as a photographer?
Probably just for my photos to really stick with people and make them feel something
What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream to be a photographer/videographer?
Just go for it! Pick up a camera or your phone and just get started. I’m still dreaming too!
