Where are you from?
Born and raised in Los Angeles, my family is originally from India. I've lived and/or worked in over 20 countries.
Tell us the story of how you got into writing
I really don't think of myself as a writer. During the early days of Covid I needed something to distract me from work, and other challenges so I decided to write the book as a way to help keep me grounded, stress-free and focused on what needed to be done. It was important for my mental wellness.

Where do you go to get into writing mode?
All over to be honest. Starbucks, outdoor at the beach, take voice notes while walking the dog. I listen to Rufus Du Sol, U2, Eminem, and am a big movie buff. Sometimes in the middle of a movie something will hit me and I will take notes on my phone. On a side note, I just optioned my first movie screenplay and completed a second one.

Really anyone doing good. I love inspirational stories.
How important is reading and literacy for youth in this world?
Educating the world is incredibly important. It can break cycles of poverty and despair.
What is some advice you would give to someone with a dream?
If you really want to go after a dream focus first on helping to honor other people's dreams first. By doing so you will build an army of friends, colleagues, and acquaintances that will help you achieve yours.
