Faith Zingoni Interview | Respect the Founder
Stereotype sat down with Faith Zingoni to talk about her entrepreneurship journey.
What is the name of your business?
Bogat
Where are you from?
Staten Island, New York
What was your first business? How old were you?
I started my first business at 19 a Lifestyle & Travel Company.
When did you know working for yourself was the way to go?
I knew when I was 22 and just starting a real estate business that you could make substantial income on your own time and travel the world. I also realized this when I saw the difference between my family members with traditional 9-to-5 jobs and those who were entrepreneurs and their respective lifestyles.
Can you talk us through your career to date and how you found your way to where you are now?
After starting one my first businesses and succeeding I decided to take my talents to my own ventures and Wall Street. This lead me to building connections with powerful individuals and high net worth clients which built trust and I provided the services they were interested in and needed. All of this success early on lead me to teach others the steps I took through my coaching and my 5 best selling books available on Amazon, TikTok, TheZingoniGroup.com & BogatOfficial.com. Now that I am officially MWBE certified in NYC I am able to teach and mentor others on all the secrets of entrepreneurship and help people change their realites.
What inspired you to start your business?
Growing up in the inner cities and the lack of opportunities and hiring to certain communities really encouraged me. It kind of was like a sink or swim. No one was coming to lend a helping hand so I had to be my own helping hand.
What are some of the biggest challenges you see in your market?
This is a great question! Well there has to be a change in access to funding to women owned and BIPOC businesses. I won’t go into the data but if you do your research you’ll see.
Who was one of your biggest supporters early on?
Ahh I would have to say people started supporting when I started really making a wave and creating my own opportunities but there were some key people who helped me along the way that I am grateful for.
What advice do you have for professionals looking to get started in your industry?
Well I am a serial entrepreneur. If you want to get started as an entrepreneur just START! Start with one thing and become really good with it. After you master that you can venture off and create other opportunities for yourself and others but in the beginning keep the main thing the main thing.
