How did you get your name?

I made it myself. I'm humble enough to know I'm rare & talented just as rare as seeing a black unicorn.

How did you get into creating?

I went to my first comic con at the end of 2015 and seeing all the amazing Cosplayers and things they had been creating for some time I wanted to be like what I saw. So I began watching tutorials and talking to Cosplayers willing to share tips and I just grew over time.

How has creating changed your life?

Creating and Cosplaying has changed my life because it's shown me what I'm actually able to do on my own and my talent has taken me places like Going to Cons and interviewing Celebrities I grew up watching.

Where are you from?

I'm from Baltimore Maryland.

How did growing up in your neighborhood/city affect you?

Growing up, I got teased for things like sitting up straight or the shows I watched, how I crossed my legs, etc. But today watching anime and so on has become normal and mainstream.

What did you do to advance your skills/knowledge?

I like to take panels at Cons to learn exactly "How to" do the new skill properly. I'm more of a hands-on learner and may need something shown to me directly.

What does your current setup look like?

My current setup is a mess lol. But I like to have all my cosplays in a closet protector, all my accessories and props in one space, and all my paints and dyes in another.

Who inspires you? Why do they inspire you?

Who inspires me honestly would be my friends, and I want to believe it's because they are real people pushing through whatever it takes to be present. I have friends who are electricians but Going to Cons speaking to people like Mattel with such ease and confidence. I have other friends writing plays while being a college professor and another working in technology while making cosplays in her spare time.

What is your goal when you create?

My goal is to get as screen accurate as possible. So whatever that show or movie is I may rewatch it often up until it's done to get the character's mannerisms, small details like earrings or nail polish color, and even ideas on posing for photoshoots.

Why do you create?

I create because it makes me happy, it makes others laugh or remember the nostalgia of their upbringing and I would like to see how far I can go.

What's your go-to song right now and why is it important to you?

I don't have a go to song but a Go to album. Right now that would be Kendrick Lamar's Mr Morale & the Big Steppers. I believe I connect with that album so much because I did therapy back In 2020 to begin undoing a lot of past pain recent and old and I began breaking a lot of cycles and generational curses which that's what Kendrick did in this most recent album and I really feel drawn to it and the message it represents.

What is your dream as an artist and what steps are you taking to reach your dream?

My dream is just to be recognized for my talent somehow. Whether it's a stand-in for a movie or doing comedy sketches somewhere that's what I want and I have been auditioning or giving whatever I do my absolute best. Until then just gonna keep growing and creating.

What is the best advice you would give someone with a dream?

To just do it. Don't worry about likes don't worry about views or any site's algorithm. Just do it. I've seen designers with less than 1000 followers and are making designs for marvel movies. Something will break for you, just keep going!

Tell us about your most recent release

The most recent thing that I've just finished is I jeweled/stoned Jim Carrey's the Riddlers body suit from Batman Forever. I'm not sure exactly how many hours it took me to decal and stone it but I know there are over 2500 rhinestones big and small on it. That was something I was very proud of.
